BMC Software Gets Bank Win

Houston-based BMC Software has signed on Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) for the firm's configuration management and IT services management tools, the company announced Wednesday. Financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. BMC said that BBVA has implemented the firm's BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and BMC IT Service Management v7 products. Both products are used for monitoring IT infrastructure, including mainframes and distributed systems.
