BMC Software Aims At Amazon Cloud Performance

Houston-based enterprise software developer BMC Software has moved into the cloud with a new software product, the company announced Wednesday, specifically aimed at Amazon Web Services (AWS). BMC said its new Application Performance Management (APM) solutions for Amazon Web Services (AWS), runs on Red hat Enterprise Linux, and helps customers understand complex web applications running on Amazon's cloud. Pricing on the new product was not announced. BMC said the new software will help its customers gain insight into end user performance from applications running in Amazon's cloud computing service.
