BMC Offer For BladeLogic Completes

Houston-based BMC Software said today that it has successfully completed its tender offer to acquire BladeLogic, at a price of $28.00 per share. The firm said that approximately 96.7 percent of BladeLogic's shares were tendered in the offer. BMC Software said in March that it would acquired Massachusetts-based BladeLogic in a $800M cash deal. BladeLogic is a developer of software for data center automation.
