BMC Buys European Software Vendor

Houston-based BMC Software announced today that it has acquired the software business of Neptuny, a European provider of capacity management and IT performance optimization software. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. BMC said the acquisition would extend its leadership in the area of virtualization and cloud management.
