Azaya Therapeutics Raises $1.045M

San Antonio-based Azaya Therapeutics has raised $1.045M in an investment round, according to SATAI and the South Texas Regional Center of Innovation and Commercialization. According to the firms, the investment, through the Texas Emerging Technology Fund, will go towards commercialization of Azaya's platform for creating safer and more effective formulations of chemotherapy pharmaceuticals for the treatment of cancer.
