Austin Canoe and Kayak Hits Android

Austin Canoe and Kayak is extending its popular Kayak Launch Points app from the iPhone to Android, the firm said this week, allowing canoe and kayak paddlers to now access its list of access points via their Android phones. ACK said that the new app is free in the Android Market. Austin Canoe and Kayak's app lists launch points where paddlers can enter the water, and also lets users rate those launch points, add photos, and more from the mobile app. The firm has physical shops in Austin, San Marcos, and Houston, and an extensive online store.
