Alliance Data Inks Multi-Year Deal with Charter

Dallas-based Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of customer analytics and marketing information, reported Monday that its Epsilon business unit has signed a multi-year agreement with Charter Communications, the country’s third-largest publicly traded cable operator. Alliance Data explained that Epsilon will support Charter’s "Live It with Charter" customer loyalty program by providing loyalty marketing and database services, analytics, permission-based e-mail communications and strategic consulting. The financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Headquartered in St. Louis, Charter Communications provides more than 5.6 million customers in 29 states with cable television, high-speed Internet access and VoIP telephone services.
