Alert Logic Raises $8.25M

Houston-based Alert Logic said Tuesday that the firm has raised $8.25M in a Series C venture round. The company, which provides software for IT compliance and security, said the funding was led by Updata Partners, and also included Hunt Ventures, OCA Ventures, DFJ Mercury and Access Venture Partners. Carter Griffin of Updata Partners has joined the firm's board as part of the funding. Alert Logic develops software-as-a-service offerings for managing compliance. More information »
