Alereon Shows UWB Chips

Austin, Texas-based Alereon, a provider of wireless USB semiconductors, said today that it will show a wireless USB reference design along with Sunnyvale, California-based LitePoint. The two companies said that Alereon's reference design for a wireless USB product will be shown working with Litepoint's WiMedia test system at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Alereon is venture backed by Samsung Ventures.
