AirStrip Lands Investment From Wellcome Trust

San Antonio-based mobile healthcare application and hardware developer AirStrip Technologies has scored a round of investment from the Wellcome Trust, the two said this morning. Financial details of the investment were not announced. Wellcome Trust is the UK-based charitable foundation which focuses on improving human and animal health. AirStrip Technologies develops products which let physicians access live medical data, including ECGs and other information, via a mobile device. The company is led by Alan Portela. More information »
