AirStrip Finds $25M More

San Antonio-based AirStrip, the developer of mobile healthcare applications, has scored a big strategic funding, saying this morning that it has raised $25M in a funding round. According to Airstrip, the strategic funding was led by the Gary and Mary West Health Investment Fund, Sequoia Capital and Wellcome Trust, and also included Sequoia Capital, Wellcome Trust, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and Qualcomm Inc., along with new investors Dignity Health, St. Joseph Health, and Leerink Partners. Airstrip is led by Alan Portela. The company's applications are used to help healthcare systems give mobile access to patient data. More information »
