AirBorn Buys AESCO Electronics

Georgetown, Texas-based AirBorn, a manufacturer of electronic components, said this week that it has acquired AESCO Electronics, an electronics manufacturer and distributor with divisions in Ohio and Massachusetts. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. AirBorn said the deal will help it grow, diversify, and increase its offerings. The company said it has added approximately 300 employees from AESCO, bringing its total employees to 1400.
