Affiliated Computer Services Wins Italian Firm

Dallas-based Affiliated Computer Services said today that it has scored a new contract with Italian firm 3 Italia. According to ACS, it will provide call center services to 3 Italia's nearly nine million customers in Italy, including answering customer questions about billing and technical questions. ACS said it will provide the service through its Argentine-based operations, which it acquired in December of 2008 when it acquired Multivoice. ACS explained that its Latin American operations includes many Italian-speaking individuals, due to Argentina's Italian heritage.
