Active Power Gets Order From HP

Austin-based Active Power, the developer of power backup systems, reported Tuesday that it has received multiple orders for its systems from HP. Active Power said that it will deliver two, containerized continuous power systems at a datacenter facility in Texas for HP. Each is worth almost $2M each. Active Power is a developer of flywheel-based, power backup systems.
