Active Power Deploys At Ski Competition

Austin-based Active Power reported today that it is deploying its PowerHouse systems for the 2011 Nordic World Ski Championships. The firm's PowerHouse system is a containerised, 40-foot container which provides power conditioning and protection for venues. The ski championships is being held form February 23rd through March 6th in Holmenkollen, Norway. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. The system will protect the event's broadcast center.
