Aceable Raises $4M For Driver Education App

Austin-based Aceable, the developer of driver's education apps which meet state approvals for driver education hours, has raised $4M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Silverton Partners and Floodgate. According to Aceable, the funding goes towards expanding into other industries which require professional certification, and expansion of its app to other states. Aceable, which is led by Blake Garrett, said that it is expanding its driver's education app to Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Indiana with the funding; the company already offers up its app in Texas and California. In addition, the company says it is looking to provide similar, training apps for real estate, corporate HR, nursing and food safety. More information »
