ACS Gets California Contract

Dallas-based business process outsourcing and IT consulting firm Affiliated Computer Services Inc. revealed Tuesday that it has received an eRecording service contract from a California agency. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. ACS said it, under the terms of the contract, will design, develop, implement and support an electronic recording delivery system for the California Electronic Recording Transaction Network Authority, or CeRTNA for short. ACS explained that the system will allow documents related to land records to be electronically submitted from groups such as title agents, banks, lenders and local governments and then routed to county recorders for processing. As a consortium of California county recorders, CeRTNA will make the system available to all of the state’s counties, ACS said.
