WhiteFence reported Wednesday that it has re-launched WhiteFence.com, an online comparison-shopping marketplace for residential utilities and home services. WhiteFence.com enables consumers to compare and order essential home services, including electricity, natural gas, home phone, high-speed Internet, and cable and satellite television. WhiteFence said its updated site offers hundreds of service providers and several new features, including a head-to-head comparison engine, click-to-chat customer service and an improved order checkout display. Based in Houston, WhiteFence is a privately held company backed by Adams Street Partners and the Internet Capital Group.
