Vista Equity Buys Infoblox For $1.6 Billion

Austin-based Vista Equity Partners has acquired network infrastructure management software developer Infoblox, in a $1.6 billion deal, the two said this morning. Infoblox and Vista Equity said Vista will pay $26.50 per share for publicly held Infoblox, which is based in Santa Clara, California. Infoblox develops software used for managing DNS, DHCP, and IP addresses and security.
