Virtuix Raises $3M for Virtual Reality Treadmill

Houston-based Virtuix, a developer of a treadmill designed to work with virtual reality goggles--allowing users to walk, run, and jump while in their virtual worlds--has raised $3M in a seed funding round. The company said the funding came from Tekton Ventures and Maveron, along with Scentan Ventures, Radical Investments, Scout Ventures, StartCaps Ventures, and others.
