UT Dallas Selects Data Center Firm

The University of Texas At Dallas has decided to turn to a data center outsourcing company, instead of building its own data center, according to colocation provider ViaWest. ViaWest said UT Dallas will use the firm for colocation services, instead of building out its own data center. Financial details of the deal were not announced. ViaWest did not say where UT Dallas intends to host its servers, but it's likely UT Dallas would be using ViaWest's Dallas colocation center.
