Univa HD Gets Win At Automotive Firm
Austin- and Chicago-based Univa HD, which provides software for managing high performance computing (HPC) and other IT systems, said this week that the firm has been selected by Corus Automotive to help manage a cloud for high performance computing. The firm said that Corus Automotive, which is a manufacturer of steel products for the automotive industry, will use the firm's Univa UniCluster 4.1 and Univa UniPortal 5 products, which are used for managing workload on Oracle Linux based clusters. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed.
