Austin-based UmnboundID has upgraded its identity management software platform, the firm said this week. Among upgrades to the software include new certification by VMware, and a new ability to synchronize multiple identity data repositories in real time, which the firm said allows it to support high-volume cloud and mobile services. UnboundID's identity management software is used to handle user logins into web and other applications. UnboundID is backed by Silverton Partners.
