Tyler Technologies Wins $2.1M Municipal Contract
Tyler Technologies Inc., a publisher of information management software for local governments, revealed Tuesday that the city of Bridgeport, Conn., has adopted Tyler's financial management solution. Tyler said the customer win is valued at more than $2.1 million and includes software licenses and related services, maintenance and support. According to the Dallas-based firm, the city of Bridgeport and Bridgeport Public Schools will implement Tyler;s MUNIS financial management software into their common database. Specifically, Tyler explained, Bridgeport will utilize Tyler;s Citizen, Vendor and Employee Self Service applications. Home to some 137,000 residents, Bridgeport is Connecticut's largest city and its public school system educates some 21,200 students.
