Dallas-based Tyler Technologies, a provider if IT software for local governments, said today that Mahoning County, Ohio, has purchased the firm's financial management software, in a deal worth approximately $1.8 million. The firm said that the county will use the firm's software for payroll management and other financial and human resources functions. The deal included a software license, professional services, and maintenance and support.
