TrustRadius Finds $5M For Crowdsourced Enterprise Software Reviews
A new, Austin-based startup, TrustRadius, said this morning that it has raised $5M in a Series A funding, to help businesses crowdsource enterprise software reviews. The company said the funding came from the Mayfield Fund, which adds partner Rajeev Batra to its board of directors. TrustRadius was co-founded by Vinay Bhagat, the former Chief Strategy Officer at Convio.
TrustRadius said it is helping enterprise customers gain access to in-depth, objective user reviews on hundreds of enterprise software products covering marketing, business intelligence, sales, finance, HR and information technology. The company's reviewers are drawn from professionals working at other, enterprise companies, who share in-depth, long reviews with structured details on support, training, usability, and other factors.
TrustRadius said the funding will go to add staff, increase membership, expand its base of reviews, along with development new features.More information »
