Travelocity In New Marketing Campaign
Southlake, Texas-based online travel booking site Travelocity is launching a new, digital advertising promotion, the company said today, which includes a big sweepstakes, seven new television ad spots, and other, online ad efforts. According to Travelocity, the new campaign revolves around The Roaming Gnome and a #iWannaGo contest, which will allow users to enter to win an "ultimate dream vacation". The deal also includes a partnership integrated with CBS' Amazon Race, plus television ads on ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX. Travelocity also said it will be hosting its hashtag contest on Twitter, Instagram, and Vine. Travelocity did not say how much it be investing in the big marketing campaign.
