    The Planet Gets Win With Nirvanix


    Houston-based IT hosting firm The Planet said today that Nirvanix, a provider of cloud storage services, is expanding at the firm's D2 data center in Dallas. According to The Planet, Nirvanix will add another node to its network at the Dallas center, which is expected to be fully operational in Q4 of this year. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Nirvanix provides storage as a service via a programmatic API. The Planet is a provider of web hosting and colocation services.
