Syndiant Sees $10.7M

Dallas-based Syndiant, a developer of light modulating semiconductors used for portable projectors, has raised $10.7M in a Series B investment, the firm said today. The round came from the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and un-named, private investors. According to Syndiant, the new funding will go towards mass production efforts and product development. Syndiant's chips are used to create very small, portable projection video equipment, which can be embedded onto cell phones. More information »
