Austin-based Surgient, a venture-backed provider of virtualization automation and lab automation products, said Tuesday that the firm's products have been selected by InsureSoft, a provider of insurance software. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Surgient said that InsureSoft will use the firm's Surgient Virtual Lab Management Platform to manage its software test Q/A cycle. Surgient is venture backed by Austin Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Goldman Sachs, MFI Austin, and Sternhill Partners.
