Superpages.com Revises Advertising Platform
Superpages.com, an Idearc Media Corp. service, has improved its search methodology by pairing context-based advertisements with user search results, Dallas, Texas-based Idearc reported Thursday. Also, Superpages.com has adjusted how it ranks its performance-based advertisers, who are now rated according to relevancy, performance and bidding structure. The Web site's new advertising platform selects local advertisers based on the userís geography and search topic. Superpages.com hosted more than 2.8 billion network searches in 2006, and features listings for more than 18 million small- to medium-sized U.S. businesses. Idearc Media Corp. is headquartered in Dallas.
