Sunnova Raises $300M For Residential Solar Energy Efforts

Houston-based Sunnova Energy, a provider of residential, rooftop solar energy installation, said this morning that it has secured $300M in a combination of debt and equity. The debt included funding from Credit Suisse, and the equity came from Triangle Peak Partners and Franklin Square Capital Partners LP, advised by GSO Capital Partners LP (Blackstone). Sunnova said it has now raised more than $900M in funding for its residential solar service. As part of the funding, Sunnova has added GSO Capital Partners' Rob Horn, Triangle Peak Partners' Mike Morgan and David Pesikoff, and C. Park Shaper from SEIS Holdings, LLC.
