    Stracka Design Company Acquires GolfQ.com


    Houston-based Stracka Design Co. LLC, operators of the Stracka.com social network for golfers, announced Wednesday that it has acquired the assets of GolfQ.com Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Stracka, Texas-based GolfQ promotes itself as the world's largest golf community. Stracka added that the site has helped promote golf courses for nearly a decade. Stracka said members use the site to locate promotions at participating golf courses, receiving preferred tee times unavailable through other Web sites.
