ClearDATA Finds $12M More

Austin-based ClearDATA, a provider of HIPAA-compliant, cloud services for the healthcare market, announced this morning that it has raised $12M in a funding round. The funding came from Merck Global Health Innovation Fund, Norwest Venture Partners, Excel Venture Management, Heritage Group, HLM Venture Partners, and Flare Capital Partners. According to the company, the funding will go towards a "significant expansion" of its managed cloud services. Darin Brannan is CEO of ClearDATA. ClearDATA says its cloud services are used by such customers as Intermountain Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Memorial Hermann, LifePoint Health, Health Care Service Corporation, UnityPoint Health, Trinity Health (Livonia, MI), Tenet Health, Community Health Systems and others.
