MXForce Acquired By j2 Global

Dallas-based MXforce, a provider of email security and spam filtering tools, has been acquired by j2 Global. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. j2Global announced the acquisition along with the buy of four other companies, SendInc (email), Longscope (email), MailerMailer (email marketing), ans Scrypt (fax). j2 Global run such services as eFax, eVoice, Onebox, FuseMail, and many others, and also publishes such online publications as PCMag, IGN, AskMen, Everyday Health, and many others, and is based in Los Angeles, California.
