Alpha Nodus Targets IoT Market From Austin

Austin- and Bangalore, India-based Alpha Nodus says it is targeting the Internet-of-Things (IoT) market, and specifically is rolling out an IoT platform for the enterprise lighting and climate control industry. The startup said it is looking to solve the fragmented IoT industry, and has created a new platform called "Gravity" that will apply machine learning and predictive analysis to connected devices to help provide energy savings to customers. The company was founded and is led by Shamit Patel. It's unclear how large of a workforce the company has in Austin versus India.
