Drilling Info Names CFO

Austin-based Drilling Info, the developer of software-as-a-service for the oil and gas business, said over the holidays that it has named Dave Piazza as its Chief Financial Officer. Piazza was previously CFO of QuadraMed Corporation. The company also said Piazza has experience in the emerging telecommunications and technology sectors. Drilling Info just announced a huge, $165M investment in March, the biggest venture/equity investment in the region all year.
