Asure Software Names CFO

Austin-based Asure Software announced today that it has named Jennifer Crow as its Chief Financial Officer. Crow was previously Director of Finance at Active Power, and also served as an independent consultant, as well as serving at Broadwing Communications, Bellsouth, Southwestern Bell, and one of the major public accounting firms. Asure Softwaer is a developer of workplace management software. The appointment is the second company to pull a finance exec out of Austin's Active Power in the last two days; just yesterday, former Active Power CFO John Penver joined Fallbrook Technologies.
