Ignite Technologies Names Toney Sales SVPContent delivery software publisher Ignite Technologies Inc. reported Monday that it has hired Jeff Toney as senior vice president of sales. Toney, whom Ignite described as a 24-year veteran of the software industry, will supervise the company’s overall sales strategy, sales operations and channel management. Before joining Ignite, Toney was vice president of strategic sales and business development for Fuego, a publisher of business process management applications. After BEA Systems acquired Fuego in February 2006, Toney directed BEA's Global BPM Sales organization. He has also managed sales efforts for webMethods, Raytheon, Netscape Communications, USA Video Interactive and Digital Equipment Corp.
