    Alert Logic Upgrades Software


    Houston-based Alert Logic has upgraded the firm's log management product, Alert Logic Log Manager, the firm announced today. Alert Logic's product is used for managing security log information for enterprises. According to Alert Logic, the firm's upgraded software includes upgrades to log searching, new custom rules, advanced management of log sources, and tunable bandwidth consumption by the software. Alert Logic is venture backed by Updata Partners, Hunt Ventures, OCA Ventures, DFJ Mercury and Access Venture Partners.
