RideSearch.com Takes On Carpool MatchingCarrollton, Texas-based RideSearch.com, a small online site run by Brian Bass, said Thursday that the site has launched a new service focused on helping commuters match up with others. The site said it has added new social networking features to the web site, that allow people to instant message others, a member rating system, better searching and mapping, and other features. The firm also said it has rolled out a new site, ridesearch.biz, targeted at the corporate market. Bass is the CEO and only employee of RideSearch. posted on Friday, June 27, 2008
