    Skywire Software Acquired By Oracle


    Frisco, Texas-based Skywire Software, a developer of document management software for the insurance industry, has been acquired by database giant Oracle, Oracle said this morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not given, however Oracle said it would make Skywire Software a part of its Oracle Insurance Global Business Unit. Skywire Software's products are used for managing insurance policies, including creation, rating, insurance agent/broker management, and other information. Oracle said that it expects Skywire Software employees and management to join the firm.
