    Solarwinds Expands Board


    Austin-based SolarWinds, a developer of network management software, said Friday that it has appointed Ellen F. Siminoff to the company's board of directors. Siminoff is President and CEO of online educational website Shmoop University. She also served as Chairman of Efficient Frontier, and has also previously served at Yahoo. Solarwinds is venture backed by Austin Ventures, Bain Capital, and Insight Venture Partners.
