    Freescale Links With Eclipse

Austin-based Freescale Semiconductor said this week that the firm has linked its CodeWarrier software development tools with the open source Eclipse project. The Eclipse project is an open source, integrated development environment (IDE). According to Freescale, it will provide an integrated suite of plug-ins into the Eclipse software platform. Those plug-ins will help developers with Freescale's semiconductors. Freescale's CodeWarrior tools provide source level debugging and other tools for embedded application development.
