Viewzi Rolls Out Search Tool

Dallas-based Viewzi said this week that it has launched a new search engine focused on visually showing search results from top search sites. The firm said that it organizes search results from the Web into views focused on different types of content, such as music, video, and photos. The site allows users to select different ways of viewing search results from the web, including a 3D photo cloud, text summaries, web albums, MP3 files. The site also includes specialized views like comparison shopping and weather forecast views. Viewzi is headed by Brandon Cotter, who co-founded CreateTech (acquired by Broadcast.com), Musicforce.com, and other startups. The firm was previously in a private beta.
