    Surgient Gets Win With EMC


    Austin, Texas-based Surgient, a provider of software used for automating demo, test, and training labs, said Tuesday that its product has been selected by storage giant EMC Corporation for a content management software partner sales application. Surgient's Virtual Demo Lab Management System will be used by EMC to demonstrate its solutions along with software partners. Surgient's products are used to manage complex software enviroments, and are used for supporting demonstrations, evaluation, and proof-of-concept deployments. Surgient is venture backed by Austin Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Goldman Sachs, MFI Austin and Sternhill Partners.
