StepOne Finds $4M In Series A

Austin-based StepOne, a developer of self service, customer support tools, said this morning that it has raised $4M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from LiveOak Venture Partners and Silverton Partners. The startup, led by Alex Mitchell, said the new funds will go towards growing its product team and expanding sales and marketing. StepOne's flagship product helps customer solve their own problems, and is currently being used by Australian telecom Telstra, as well as what the company says is a Tier 1, U.S. cable company.
