StackEngine is venture backed by Silverton Partners and LiveOak Venture Partners. The startup is led by Bob Quillin. Docker is an open source platform that helps developers package and deploy applications into the cloud; StackEngine's tools helps those same developers with managing the deployment and use of Docker, with what the company says is the aim of providing a "single pane of glass" to manage that deployment.
