Austin-based Spredfast has snagged a high profile executive for its board of directors, saying today that it has added Satya Patel to the body. Patel was most recently Vice President of Product at Twitter, and also has served at Battery Ventures as partner. He also has previously been at Google, DoubleClick, and other early stage venture capital firms. Spredfast is headed by Rob favaron, and offers up software for managing their social marketing and social media programs.
