Spredfast Launches Social Media Measurement Service
Austin-based Spredfast, a new company focused on social media campaign management, said today that it has launched a service to help monitor the social media efforts of companies. According to the firm, its service pulls together information about social media campaigns and metrics, including monitoring Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, and other services to measure social media campaigns. The firm said it was founded by Kenneth Cho and Scott McCaskill, and has already signed up IBM, Cisco, and AOL as customers of the firm. Cho has previously served at IBM, VerveLabs, Enron, Lehman Brothers, and Price Waterhouse; McCaskill at Small World Labs, Dell, Boston Consulting Group, Singlecast and Sapient.
